University Policies

Welcome to the University of 六合网址大全 Policies website. The University鈥檚 policy environment is designed to enhance the University鈥檚 mission, promote operational efficiency and effectiveness, and reduce institutional risk. The University's official Policy Library is maintained and managed by the Department of Enterprise Risk Management and the Office of Business and Financial Affairs. Enterprise Risk Management and Business and Financial Affairs also staff and manage the Policy Advisory Committee (PAC) which reviews and submits for approval to the Chancellor and/or the Board of Trustees, all University policies that have campus-wide application.

The development and maintenance of a robust, comprehensive policy environment communicates the University鈥檚 values and expectations to members of the University community. University policies are applicable campus-wide and provide the foundation of University operations. These policies support the University鈥檚 commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion by promoting an inclusive academic culture, supporting and retaining diverse faculty and staff, and providing equitable foundational principles for operations.

We encourage all community members to use this site as the main source for University-wide policies, as it will feature the most current information and updates on all policy-related items.

Many departmental or divisional policies and procedures, although useful and important, do not meet the criteria above and, therefore, are not considered University policies. Similarly, oversight of the development and implementation of policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards pertinent to specific University groups fall to the governing body for such constituency. Examples include the Guidelines on Appointment, Promotion, and Tenure (Faculty Senate), Office of Research and Sponsored Programs Policies (ORSP) as well as the (Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities). All departmental, divisional, and group-specific 听policies and procedures must be consistent with University policies.

If there is a discrepancy between a division version of a policy and a University Policy, the version posted to the University Policy Library is considered the official policy.
